Dreamland Cafe
Hola! A wonderful day to you. Are you looking for a quick getaway experience near Manila? Are you looking for a place to chill but don’t want to go to the beach ‘cause you don’t want to get tanned? Or are you looking for a place to enjoy with your friends, family, or lover? Let me help you with that. All the things you’re looking for can be found near you.
I had the chance to get to visit one of the tourist attractions in Tagaytay: Dreamland Arts & Crafts Cafe. This place is located in Tagaytay City just a few meters away from Olivarez-Tagaytay Rotonda. A few landmarks you can use are: Cityland Tagaytay Prime Residences, McDonald’s, or Tagaytay Garden Budgetel. It’s actually easy to spot since the exterior of the place is already very pleasing to the eyes of those who will pass by it.
The whole interior of the place are decorated by very artistic creations. In each corner you will be able to see different artworks created by different people. You will notice that every work of art of the artists are filled with efforts and dedication in creating. Some of the items are made of recycled materials which makes it very eco-friendly. You can also see posters, inspirational quotes, photos of local artists who visited the place, and of course from the name itself: lots of dreamcatchers. What makes this place so dreamy is because the place is filled with sparkling lights together with dreamcatchers in different colors and sizes.
Once you are done checking the whole place of arts and crafts, you can visit their cafe where there are lots of healthy foods to choose from. As for the place to eat, it really looks so pretty since the place is surrounded with lights and decorated with very beautiful pashminas. There are quite a few styles to choose from where you can sit and spend some quality time with your friends, family, or lover while you enjoy your food. The place is a no Wifi Zone as the place was created for you to get to connect with people you are actually with. There’s also a small stage at the ground floor where anyone can get up there and share their talents and all. It’s like a freedom stage where you can do whatever you want to. You can also visit their 2nd floor if you want to just continue to chill and experience a little much cooler breeze.
If you have the budget and wanted to extend your stay, the place actually offers a Bed & Breakfast service. It’s only beside the cafe itself and the interior is quite artistic as well. Prices of their rooms are quite pricey but you will definitely enjoy it because of the different styles and ambiance of every room.
Overall, I enjoyed my time spent here at Dreamland Arts & Crafts Cafe. I do recommend this if you want a quick getaway experience. It’s budget friendly and easy to visit if you’re from Manila or nearby areas in South. I will definitely get back here to try out their other foods and experience the solemnity of the place.
